I work as a math education specialist for Pinal County Education Service Agency in Arizona. We serve 19 school districts in our mostly rural county situated between Phoenix and Tucson. My classroom experience was as a 8th grade and high school math teacher. I also taught 3 years of special education where I learned how much I didn't know about reading and writing education. I also serve on the Arizona Association of Teachers of Mathematics as the NCTM Representative.
I love the outdoors and am passionate about defending our public lands. I hunt, fish, camp and love to explore the outdoors.
