My name is Brittania Porterfield and I have been teaching for five years in the Spokane, Washington Diocese.
I grew up in Orange County, California and have been privileged to be apart of the Catholic education system since I was in elementary school. I graduated from Gonzaga University in December 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology and my Elementary Teaching Certification. I received a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Gonzaga University this past year.
I have been a dancer my whole life and I was fortunate enough to dance for Gonzaga University’s dance team during my time there. Growing up as a dancer, I learned best through kinesthetic movement and visual styles and I hope to incorporate these learning techniques into my teaching. I am passionate about shaping and preparing young minds for the future and working in a constant partnership with families in order to provide the most successful learning experience for my students.
