Of my more than thirty years in education, the last 15 have focused largely on understanding what families know and do that makes a difference in academic achievement, with increasing emphasis on math. For the last six years, I've worked as a family engagement specialist for San Bernardino City USD and I speak regularly on achievement, equity and readiness at regional, state and national conferences. I love talking to people who are passionate about what they do and about improving student outcomes.
