I'm a New York State certified teacher (Grades 7-12) in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Social Studies. I have an M.Ed., an Ed.M. in Mathematics, and an Advanced Certificate in Special Education. For the past 20 years, I have provided in-home, subject-based tutoring. I also customize lessons to prepare students for the SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, ISEE, SSAT, and TACHS. I help families with every aspect of private secondary school admissions. Riseman Educational Consulting, LLC has been awarded “Best of Westchester” for College Prep the past seven years. I serve as Director of the Educational Consulting and Academic Achievement Program at the Child & Family Institute in Scarsdale.
