New Assistant Professor at Adams State U. (the other ASU) in Alamosa CO. The last 5 years I was a graduate student and then a post doc at University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education and then Chemistry, respectively. Ph.D. in Teaching, Curriculum, & Teacher Education followed by 1.75 years of Chemistry Education working with Nebraska Tribal Colleges, indigenizing chemistry laboratory curriculum.
Prior to that I taught Science & Mathematics in western Colorado in a rural PK-12 school district and for a community college. I have served on the council and board for National Science Teaching Association and for Colorado's Association of Science Teachers.
