My passion for teaching mathematics led me to the founding of Math Rocks. Math Rocks is a tutoring service for K-college students located in Uvalde, TX. I plan on growing my tutoring business so that it becomes the most effective tutoring service in Uvalde, TX and the country.
An ongoing goal of mine is to continue growing in my field through professional development from Harvard. I plan on attending classes and workshops at Harvard throughout my career. I am currently pursuing an enrichment of knowledge in my field so that I can better serve all my students.
Public speaking is another passion of mine. I love to speak to audiences, both young and old, about the importance of obtaining a mathematics education. Speaking to students, I enjoy bringing in stories that highlight the importance of staying in school and furthering their education. I look forward to future speaking opportunities in the next school year.
